Courtship Thru Texting

I don't really like how guys court girls through text messages.. for me- it's just so insincere.. I really applaud those guys who give effort in courting the girl- if the guy really like a girl- he should show it..

I think it's a stupid thing that people actually court through sending SMS. I know that it's a good thing that you let the girl know that you want constant communication and that really do seem sweet but for girls, they should realize that it's not enough. I have seen people fall for someone whom they have never even met. Not even through meeting via webcam - solely through text messages. I don't think those people are truly in love with the actual person, only to an imaginary person they came up based on their interpretation of text messages. I do believe text messages are a good tool for courtship. It's sometimes even a place for singles to meet and mingle, but it is not courtship in itself. I hope that people would have more courage to say that they love the other person personally. It shows character. Thanks for the response on my discussion!

I agree. This whole thing is absurd but sadly, it is happening. It makes the whole idea of courtship impersonal and a joke. Personally, I wouldn't consider responding to those kind of texts, unless I am bored of course. But I would not take it seriously
