Name me five items that you can grab, without straining, from where you are sitting right now. To make it more challenging - these five things must not be on your desk. 1. child's english text book 2. Hair brush 3. Pillow on the couch 4. my shoes 5. the latest Oriental trading catalog (now to go about putting these things in their proper places, lol)

Fun challenge! 1. The phone. 2. My wall calendar. 3. My stethoscope. (What? You don't have a stethoscope?) 4. Massaging back cushion thing for my desk chair (it's on the floor). 5. A box of paper I use for work (also on the floor, under my desk).

surprisingly enough I DO have a stethoscope or two and a sphignometer to boot! I much prefer using the old fashioned manual hear and watch it yourself method of taking vitals over the electronic devices which I do not trust for accuracy...

Okay, things not on my desk where my computer is...1. bottle of vinegar, 2. Sherlock, my dog, 3. a cane, 4. trash can, and 5. a towel. These sound like a really odd list, so I would like to add that I am not at my home on my own computer. Maybe that explains the odd list.

LOL - setting in recliner with heating pad on back and laptop on tray resting on the arm of the chair. What can I reach? Remote control pain pills glass of green tea cell phone jar of polar ice (analgesic gel for back) Going to leave all right where they are but avoiding my desk as I can't see it for the junk that needs taken care of :)

Ah bedpan sounds like a great idea - wish I had one :) of course would drive me crazy until it was emptied so would defeat the purpose. Thanks for the well wishes - spend tueday night in the emergancy room thought I was having a heart attach or something but then the back pains hit (again) and it was all written off. All tests came back fine I'm healthy but my back is still killing me. I'm sure it's stress related - 24/7 is just too much for this old lady :(

A glass of water, coasters, sunglasses, a jar of mixed nuts, and a book. I'm sitting on the couch at my nephew's house with my laptop and these items are on the end table to my left.
