Hi, I think in AC you get paid for page views? is that right? like what the previous commenters say, you can try Helium and other sites. I also have joined in some sites where I write reviews, but you also need to promote your articles if you want to earn more. Anyway, I can send you some link if you're interested.
some sites i've joined are passive income. it's earning like a cent a day without doing much. ^^

Ac pays by views and upfront payment. I only do up front payment. I average 3 dollars an article.

I recommend you to reviewstream. They are the best i ever use. We can earn up to $2 per review we send to them. Their minimum payout is $50 by paypal. Good luck and have a nice day. Happy mylotting.

I guess there are quite alot of good sites suitable for freelance writing ^_^ AC is one of them and i have seen ple earning quite alot from it.. hehe ^_^ Other than that, reviewstream is another good site, highly recommended by members there.. I dunno if its payment is higher than that of AC, but still, it's worth a try since u are interested in writing ^_^

Have you tried directly sending queries to magazines you want to write for?

I write, too, for someone who gets the articles then assigns them to his writers. You may think the pay is low but it depends on what someone is willing to pay. I make quite a bit each month from this. If you want details, send me a message. Although we already may have exchanged this info.
The only way you'll get premium prices for writing is to write for a firm that is not internet based--a newspaper or magazine, maybe. The internet isn't the best way to make a lot of money unless you're selling a product that is popular.

you could apply to demand studios. they pay better than AC. a lot of sites seem to be the kind that will earn money but it takes time.
