What a Dilemma!
If most of you are like me, every year I have a difficult time deciding what to buy my mother for Mother's Day or any other occasion but let's stick to Mother's Day for arguments sake. Every year I end up asking my sisters for advice on what they think she would like or want and I pretty much end up getting her the same things. The list includes but is not limited to the following: Perfume, Gift Cards, Jewelry(Earrings), Flowers, Clothes, and Money. Please share any ideas on what gifts to give your mom or what gifts are you planning to give her no matter how simple the idea or gift is, please share. HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ALL MOM'S!

Some unique things your mom might like: a photo album put together by you using pics from years ago, a journal where you've posted the first entry, a basket of odds and ends consisting of lovely things you know she likes, write her a letter or poem and frame it, if you live near her take her to lunch or dinner, buy her a Cd of relaxing music or nature sounds and a beautiful candle.
Hope this helps!

In my opinon, what moms want is not just the gifts themselves but the feeling, being cared. So I think you can give your mom a mental surprising gift, for instance, family travel to a peaceful and pretty place,or family dancing party,a meaning DIY photo album of hers.maybe these kind of presents will live in her mind for a longer time than some ordinary materials.
