How many of you guys stop eating pork cause of swine flu??? Be honest!!

Good day, MRSJAYDA. Well, I do not panic about that swine flu outbreak. In fact, I eat pork yesterday. The department of health announced that the virus will be killed if the meat was cooked properly so there is nothing to worry about that. This is my view to your discussion, happy mylotting...

No, I haven't stop eating pork 'cause it's not the cause why people gets swine flu. You get the disease through direct contact to someone who has the virus either the pig or a person who has been contaminated with the virus. It's airborne, that's why there's a sold out of face masks to some areas these days and warnings on crowded environment like in the airport. It's a matter of proper awareness.

No I havent because from what i understand "swine" flu doesnt actually come from pigs. They've changed the name they refer to it as now because of this. Honestly, I have not stopped eating pork because of the so called swine flu, i have read that it is not really from pork or hogs or exactly from swine, it is a variation from different species of animals. So i still eat pork and bacon. plus it must not be called swine flu.. rather it is ah1n1 influenza virus:))

For me I stop eating pork the time I heard about swine flu which alerted the whole world according to the news that I've heard in t.v or radio. I love eating pork but this time I avoid it because of the virus which started in pig to human disease in Mexico and its deadly disease. Its tempting to see at the restaurant sometimes those pork menu but not this time really.

I'm still eating pork. I heard from the news that the virus got killed if you cook the pork. My officemates really stop eating pork. I tried to tell them that eating well cooked food can't cause swine flu at all but they won't listen.
