Your doctor

How do you like your family dr? Do you wish you could change him/her, or can you change at any time. I had the same family dr for 18 years or longer, my husbands family had been going to him since before I came into the family and had been seeing him for over 20 years. I enjoyed him, he was a good doctor but in the end he was becoming less of a good doctor and for that reason I switched doctors. Although I did like the dr I did not like going to his office! It was always a waiting game there. Waiting in the lobby for an hour or two, waiting in the room for an hour or two and then waiting on the prescriptions for up to 30 minutes. And that was just for them to hand me the prescription paper, not get them filled. Anyhow, since I've switched, which has been probably 5 years or more ago, I really like my new doctor. He is charming as are all of his workers and we don't have to play the waiting game with him. How about you guys. How is your dr experience?

Prestonburg? Haven't heard of it. I live near Bowling Green, my daughter lives in Lexington and I have family in a little town called Flemingsburg too.

i have been going to the same doctor since I was born. I am 25 years old and all I know is this doctor, but I will tell you I have been thinking really hard about getting a new doctor. He has been rude to my oldest daughter and it seems they never can fit me in to be seen. Anyway you have made me think about it again and now I know I need to find another doctor. Thanks for your discussion and happy mylotting as well.

I'm glad that you liked my post. If your dr and daughter do not get along I would definitely change. Especially if she is just a child!

In my experience most doctors overbook there office time so you always have to wait. It's not so bad at the pain management clinic that I go to now though. They at least seem to have a good understanding of how much time each patient needs.
