Funny lyric mix-ups

I really love singing along to music, but I have this awful tendency of not knowing what the words are, and singing anyway. When I finally learn the real lyrics the words I was singing are so silly. For example, In Kelly Clarkson's song "I Do Not Hook Up" she says, "If you're looking for thrills then get cold feet" but for the longest time I thought it was "If you're looking for thrills then get coffee". I don't even know how I thought that up! Do you have any funny mix-ups?

Those are called mondegreens. Something very close to that. One of the most famous ones would be from the song "I'd Really Love to See You Tonight" by England dan & John Ford Coley. The verse says "I'm not talkin about movin in".. and it's often mistaken for "I'm not talkin bout the linen"... lol * The song "Steal My Sunshine" by Len .. the radio edit does not include this, but some half spoken lyrics say "Karen, I love you" by the name Karen is often mistaken for Sharon (who is a member of the band) or the name Jared. *"Bad Moon Rising" by Creedence Clearwater Revival... the song states "There's a bad moon on the rise" but it almost sounds like "There's a bathroom on the right" *"As I Lay Me Down" by Sophie B. Hawkins... The lyrics are for debate. In the background there is chanting of either "Oh ah kal oh" or "Oh I've got hope" but it sounds like "I love tacos" *"Blue" by Eiffel 65. "I'm blue la da dee la dee die" ... sounds like "I'm a bee, I'm a guy"

I used to think it was, "I'm blue if I were green I would die"
