Whichever religion you may follow, there is the concept of heaven and hell, sins, actions which would send you to either hell or heaven. There are actions which are unpardonable and we end up saying 'rot in hell'. But at times I think if hell would be a better place. Or is the price which one has to pay to reach heaven a little too high. Or do we really have to be this goody goody, unsinful to reach heaven. Or is there really a price to pay to reach heaven in terms of the actions.
Have you ever wondered I would rather be in hell?

I have to disagree with your opening statement
not every religion has a concept of hell
I dont believe in hell
nor do i believe in the concept of "heaven"
IF there were a hell...we are already there

Well as far as I know every religion has hell. It is present in Christianity with its philosophy of Satan. It is there in Hinduism. It is there in Islam. So does Judaism. Well lets say the major religions in the world do have a concept of hell. In Bahai faith it is a place which is symbolic of remoteness from god. The only religion which I think doesnt believe in Hell is Taoism in china.

The Bible teaches that Satan is ruling the earth and not "hell".

Not all religions have a concept of heaven and hell. My religion does not have this concept and it also does not include the idea of sin. Without the rather primitive idea of sin there is no need for a heaven or hell.

Please give me some Bible references that support the "hell, a place of torture" teaching. Please give me a verse from the book of Genesis.
Genesis 2:17 (King James Version)
17But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
If there was such a place of torture for disobedience, don't you think God would have warned Adam and Eve about it? Would He not have warned the Israelites about it in the books of Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, or Deuteronomy?
No, there is no such place!

I know a few overviews of the concept. Islam and Christianity have a depiction of a fiery place. It is a place for punishments. Satan according to several sources is an fallen angel who was punished for rebelling against god. In Bahai faith like i said earlier is remoteness from god. so hell is dread or remoteness or something else is on every persons belief. You really cant give one defination to hell.

Hell does not exist. Religions may speak about it, but religions are inventions of human beings whose knowledge and wisdom is limited and we need not take everything in religion seriously.
There are many places in the dimensions in the after-life. As Jesus says , 'many mansions'. Some of these places could be full of misery and suffering , just as there are places on this planet itself that are miserable. One could easily label them as hell. Based on the actions in your life and your level of consciousness, you enter a place, a place of joy or of misery. You will stay in a place of misery not more than one second provided you have the common sense to see that the place is a miserable one.
You are right in saying that Christianity and Islam speak of hell. But where does Hinduism speak of hell? As far as I know, there is only 'Garuda Purana' which spek about hell. But Purana means 'myth' and need not be taken seriously.
