Can you go watch a movie alone by yourself? Or you just feel so weird if you aren't with someone? Some people can watch movie alone, I myself, did it a couple of times when I was in school. But when I grew older. I felt that is weird. SO, I must go with someone, or else, I won't go to the movie theater all by myself.

I could do that, but bring many people or friends, makes it a lot fun isn't it. Because we are social creatures. I can watch to the theater alone. No problemo.

I have never been to the cinema alone, if I want to watch a film and no one else wants to see it then I will just watch it at home. I see going to the cinema's as a day out that you should share with friends, such as a going to a restaurant etc. I will eat alone eg getting a sandwich from somewhere and eating it on the move, but if I go to a restaurant then I have to be with a friend or it just doesn't feel right.

I have never thought about it. I have never been to the movies by myself but I would say if there really is a movie that I want to see and no one else wanted to or couldn't go I would probably go see the movie by myself.

I often go to the theatres by mself, usually because my friend too busy to accompany me. But also because I don't want to be bothered by my friends who asking too much questions to me about the movie.

I choose not to watch movies alone. I have always heard of rumors of girls getting harassed while inside the cinema. I don't wana take any risks. I think its too scary to be somewhere dark all alone. Besides, movies are not fun if you watch it alone, its meant to be shared with someone.

These days it definitely doesn't bother me if I see a film on my own, in fact I prefer it as it means I can concentrate on the film. But then that's me, I enjoy watching movies and getting really into them which I have never been able to do when with someone.
But then a few years back I would have been completely the opposite and the thought of going to watch a movie on my own was a complete no no.
I actually think with more people choosing to be single (according to the UK papers) it is no longer a weird thing to go to places such as the cinema on your own.

I don't go to the theater much at all anymore, but when I did, sure I'd go every once in a while by myself. I have to admit, it did feel a little bit strange going in and then again when the movie was over, leaving alone. But once your in the theater, and the movie starts, it's all the same. When I would go alone, it was mostly the afternoon shows. I think it would feel really odd to go on say a Friday or Saturday, you know the typical "date" nights.

Most people in movie theaters alone look like child molestors.

It depends on the movie and how much I want to see it. I am a college student and I can usually find someone to go to a movie with me, but if I can't and the movie is a "must see", I will go alone. Going alone isn't all that bad. Don't worry about what people think of you, most people won't even think anything of it.

I absolutly can NOT go to a movie alone at a theater! I can watch movies alone at my house, but thats it! lol. And if I can't find anyone who wants to see a movie I do...I am not above begging and making deals :P LOL. But I can not go to a movie alone--I would feel too weird and selfconcious.
But to people who can go to movies alone...more power to ya! :)

No, you won't caught me watching movies alone.
I just can't enjoy. I need to share it with someone.
May it be a friend or my husband.
I only watch tv alone once when I was in college and I felt awkward.
I didn't do it again.

Well I myself have never been to a movie by myself but I think it would be weird to me. I like having someone else there to talk to. Not so much during the movie, unless I didn't understand what someone said, but more like discussing the previews of upcoming movie. Plus I like talking about the movie with whoever I was with when the movie is done, listening to their take on the story. I honestly would be uncomfortable watching a movie by myself. Now that I think about it, how often do you see someone in the movies by themselves? Not that often.
