My husband and I stopped at my mother-in-law's house today to take a few pictures of the bushes in bloom. They were absolutely beautiful! It wasnt raining while we were there, thankfully. But many of the leaves and blossoms still had drops of water. The pictures turned out fantastically!
I would like to do something similar again, to get more pictures with flowers with rain drops on them. But I dont want to take the camera out in the rain. Any suggestions as to how I can get the pictures without harming the camera?

Get an old windex bottle or some spray bottle and put water on it. then go outside and spray some flowers with the bottle. Now thats only if you are going to be taking a picture of just a couple of flowers or 1 or something. Otherwise if you want to take a picture of the whole tree or bush , what ever it is, take a hose and wet down the tree. If you dont have access to a hose take a bucket and fill it up and trough it on! For the hose idea it would be neat if after you sprayed the tree you put a nozzle thing on and set it to mist and put that behind the tree so it would look likes its raining.... I don;t really know how to explain it but I think that would be beautiful!!!!!

Hi, elizaBrooke, I agree with you, spray on flowers is the easiest method to take this kind of photo, the 'rain drop' on the flower can be taken clearly and the camera can be safe from water.

I am not much of photographer myself. I really have no idea how I am done it without the flash of light from your camera. You have to figure a way out to do it yourself.
