Normally I'm a very quiet person and I tried to go withouth pain medication but my water broke an I had no contractions and was not progressing so I had to be induced and at around 4 cm I was starting to really feel the pain, and until that time I didn't scream or nothing but after feeling some of the contractions at 4cm I knew I was not going to make it without pain meds, so I got the epidural and I didn't feel nothing till it was time to push and when I was pushing I yelled to nurse LET GO OF MY LEG! and almost kicked her in the face! I felt so bad after because I was yelling like crazy and I didn't want to be so loud, but oh well....:)

Thank you for your response, I got a vision of this happening as I read it & I don't mean to be offensive but it gave me a good giggle :)

I wanted to scream nothing but four letter words but instead I managed to scream things like "I can't do this! What the .... is going on!" Then once they kept giving me the it's only a mind thing speech, I kept saying "Wait a minute! I can't...I need something to drink! What's all this ....... ice for!" During what they called the final stretch, I kept saying, "When is this going to be over?!?"

In a way you are lucky but due to the c-section, not so lucky with having longer to recover with your stomach

Didnt yell anything while in labour, it was way too fast both times but my second daughter after having a speedy labour of an hour and 8 minutes, while pushing for 15 minutes I got her head out and it felt like that last contraction that was needed to get her body out was taking for ever, i remeber not too quietly telling the Midwife that I thought it best if she just pulled her out by her head because the contraction was just never coming, she did laugh and ask pull her out with what I yelled her ears and two seconds later I pushed her out, felt silly aftewards and her dad has never let me forget it!

My first child I didn't want any pain meds, but with the severe pre-clampsia I had to have an epidural, which didn't work anyways. But while they were adminstering the epidural, they sprayed this stuff on my back, and my husband was right over it and it got all up his face and he got all dizzy and felt sick to his stomach... but wasn't gonna let anyone know it. Finally the nurse seen he was in some discomfort and grabbed him and took him to the side and told another nurse to get him a pepsi, I over heard this and yelled at the nurse he don't drink freaking pepsi, and everyone busted up laughing that I was so worried about what he was gonna have to drink than if he was ok. My second baby, I rambled all all sorts of things because I was so tired, and upset with how my labor was going. I probably offended many of the nurses.
