AT WORK! It's actually tomorrow; It has been one year since I have been on this job - it's my first and I'm still in it. I've learned a lot in the past year and I want to learn more in the next year. We have a new office mate today, it shows that this new company is really growing :) We're all working hard for the best of the company. Are you still happy with your job? How long have you been in that job?

i think this is a case of just reading the title of the discussion and not really reading the content. it was good for a couple of laughs though. i almost spilled my drink in the keyboard when i read this entry and your response to it. hahahaha!!! lol!!!

I am glad that you are enjoying your job. Congratulations. Well, as of now I work as an instructor for safety training. The training center is actually owned by me. There is not much pressure as compared to my previous work. As you can see, I work as a paramedic in a rescue unit for 13 years. It is very exciting. But now, I do love my work. No time pressure and the great thing, I make the decisions since I am the boss.

congratulations on the anniversary oyenkai. hopefully, you get a pay increase and added benefits and perks from your company. i'm currently with a call center here in manila and i started last january. so i'm entering my fifth month this week and on the sixth month, i'll be a regular employee. i'm looking forward to my regularization but at the same time i can't wait to weither move to a different company or better yet, return to my previous one. this is my first call center and the experience has been an eye opener but it's just not for me. i don't see myself getting stuck in a cubicle making calls to customers, reading spiels and scripts with the hope of collecting their bad debts. lol!!! yes i'm a debt collector!!! (gasp)... anyway, congratulations again and it seems that you are enjoying yourself in your current job. like they say, get into a job you love and you won't have to work for the rest of your life. cheers!!!

Hi Oyenkai, i'm just new at work too. This is my first job after graduation, and i've been at work for more than 9 months. It's going to be 10 months soon!haha. This is a really big company, a multinational company (hehe, not to disclose it here) with lots of employee all over the world. Everything is good, including the pay, facilities, employees benefit, company's reputation, and colleague's relationship. In fact, i'm quite happy working in this company. However, there're also some things that i've to give away to continue working here, such as far away from my hometown. It takes me about 7-8 hours away from my home. This is the reason i seldom go back home too. And another thing is that, i'm quite worry that my work life is going to be very routine, which i'm going to be like this for the rest of my working life? haha..good luck to me, and good luck to everyone too! Enjoy working :)
