Hi med!
If I say that I am a good listener, it will be like blowing my own trumphet. Yes, I can say with conviction that I'm a good listener and I love to listen to others. I feel others want to share something very important with me, therefore, they are talking to me. By listening to them, I'm giving them an opportunity to vent out their feelings. Also, if they are going to tell me some useful information, I must listen to them, may be something important is there, which I should not miss. Above all, I've observed that everybody wants to speak and wants to tell his/her side of story, however, there are less people who are interested in listening, therefore, if I can be a 'listener' for someone, I'll be too happy to play that part.

i am a good listener. when one is talking i listen to that person attentively. i am not talkative so i don't have the unnecessary urge to talk. it is important to listen to others before we present our point of view. on listening we also learn from others. listening is a type of learning and every word said has its importance.

Yes I am a good listener. I answer there questions to the best that I can. And if they have problems I try to help work them out by giving them advice.

While on the cocktail circuit, I got myself a reputation as a good conversationalist. Now that I look back on those days (I am do old for parties nowadays)I realize that all I was doing was listening to what people said and asking the right questions. This allowed people to sustain the converstion without too much off an effort on my part.
