I used to but now I think its better to send emails and to write to them instead of spending so much time on msn. So do you spend a lot of time on msn?

When I am online, usually I will also keep my MSN online. As more of my friends use it. Besides, it can notify me if I get a new email. I love China

Yes, i spend lot of time at MSN Encarta, but not always. I do still using the MSN Explorer sometimes, and using the email and chatting in the messenger.

I use both the yahoo messenger and the msn to chat with old friends because some have only yahoo messenger and some prefer only msn so I just have to go in each to chat with them.

hi, med889. My msn is online all the day. I set it to auto start when windows os starts. I use it to communicate with my co-workers and my friends. I rarely use it to send emails. I prefer Gmail to send emails. Msn can't work well when the network is not good. It misses some messages. Compare with it, other IMs, like QQ, don't have these problems.

I also have this auto start and when I find that there are no emails from there then I close the window or I talk with some friends before doing my works which is always a priority when entering the office, to check for emails from gmail.

Hi. Since I bought a laptop and set up streamyx line. My MSN is on every single time, accept the time where my laptop is resting. Because I can easily contact my fren when it is needed without wasting the credit in my phone. I seldom use email, i check my mail box only once a while..but recently I am using email oftenly because I need it to send mail for parttime job application. Thus, MSN is nice using in chatting and video call. Yet, for video call, i prefer Skype.

Hello veron044, I have the skype on my laptop too but I rarely use it, we have to buy credits to be able to communicate with other people so I use only the email service with either gmail or ymail or msn to send and receive emails or I chat rarely with friends on msn now.

Yes, I spend a lot of time on msn. Email normally is for formal discussion but msn is something informal chatting. It's good for us to contact back some old friends.

Yeah well said i also believe that msn is very informal to keep in touch with old good friends who are not so often seen and when we chat we laugh, smile, turns angry and all the emoticons are wonderful describing them.

I don't spend a lot of time on MSN itself but I do leave it up and signed in even when I'm not at the computer.

Hello there! I often sign in once to check my emails and to chat with some friends who are not in the same country and sometimes sending some files is also good on msn.

I spent a lot of time on MSN because I think it's easy to communicate things over MSN since you can clarify things instantly. However, for big group discussions, I think it's better to just send emails because everyone want to give their opinions, ended up we don't know which sentence is directed at which sentence and everyone gets confused. For official matters, it's also better to use email as it's a black and white proof.
