I think we are not born as carnivores, like lions, tigers, wolves and some other big or small animals, they can not live without meat, unlike these animals,we human beings could live with vegetables, but I guess it needs faith and determination to be a vegetarian,do you think that someday you could live without eating meat?

Hi, ktosea. I do not think I could live without eating meat. I like it too much my favorites are pork and beef. The same could be said with vegetables, though. I think I also cannot live without eating vegetables. As much as I can, I balance my diet. Have a nice day!

It's quite healthy to live on vegetable, and completely without meat. The only thing we really need from meat is protein - and that can be taken from different, richer sources like soy beans :) If you think about it, plants are the original source of energy. Animals derive their energy from food and the simplest animal eats plants then those animals are eaten by carnivores or omnivores. If you draw the line, the main source of energy is plants - it's more concentrated that way. Of course you have to eat enough of it! If you eat a bowl of salad, that won't last for more than 3 hours. But try eating a bowl of potato :D Thanks for the response on my discussion!

Oh, as for me, I think I can not do it! I must eat meat and vegetables each dinner! If I become a vegetarian, maybe it can last about two days, then I must eat meat. I know I just like carnivores, but I am not as strong and crule as them. Hehe...

It would have to be a doctor's order for me to ever stop eating meat. It would have to be a life threatening situation. I love chicken too much.
