It is easy for you to keep in contact with your boyfriend through emails so that is great. When I came home my Australian ex-husband and I had to send letters that took one week. Long distance international phone calls in those days were very expensive indeed. I think you should discuss the possibility of studying with your parents. If you graduate from college you would be able to easily pay them back any money. You could save up over how ever many months it takes to visit your boyfriend in Singapore. Whilst you are waiting you could compare airfares to try to get the cheapest deal. An overland route would be possible but it would take ages. Good luck.

It must be hard to be away from your BF, but for now, the only solution would be to earn extra money so that it will not cause you or your BF's family anything for you to visit him. Maybe you can consider buying and selling stuffs or doing part-time jobs.

Why not ask your bf? If he really does love and miss you he will probably be the one to visit your place for you. Or the other way around, but he will be the one to give you money for the fare. If he's working in Singapore that will be easy for him. Since, you're still in college, he will surely understand that you cannot immediately see him.
