Local Stores are rationing hand sanitizer

I don't ever buy hand sanitizer, so I would not know if people are having a hard time finding it or not. I guess it would have to do with the freak out of swine flu.

its to bad we have to wait until there is an out break like this to get us to sanitize our hands. i guess this will last ashort while and then be over.

I never use hand sanitizers. According to what I've read, they aren't as good as using bars of soap. Even the pump soap isn't as good as bars of soap during this time of the swine flu. This was on the local news over the weekend. I always use bars of Ivory soap to wash my hands unless I am at our daughter's homes and they do use the pump soap. This dries out my hands if I use too much. Masks and towelettes are hard to find all over. I haven't looked for hand sanitizers at the store so don't know if there is a ration going on in the midwest.

Wherever I seem to look hand sanitzers dont seem to be around and can never find wipes with alchol, so instead I just keep washing my hands that is the only way I can keep my hands clean...there are adverts on the TV that are saying to keep hands clean and to cover your nose if sneezing or mouth if coughing..so obviously this swine flu must be serious..LoLo

Good idea, the morning news said the hand sanitizer were getting scarce. I use Lysol spray and if you want you can spray your hands also.

No, but it makes sense with the swine flu going around. It doesn't surprise me at all.

I haven't bought any I already had one of the large size bottles of sanitizers. I use this large one to fill my small one with. I will check today when I go out, to see if they are hard to find or purchase in this area.

hello moneymommy the last time that i had a problem finding the hand sanitizer at our local stores, was last August when school had already started back for the year. lol that is one of the school supplies that is needed every year. the school supplies get worse each year, seems like the list gets longer each year with things needed on it. but i will have to look for some hand sanitizer the next time that i go out shopping and notice if is it being rationed here or not. and i think that those hand sanitizer wipes for your hands stink, but i guess that they still do the job. take care and have a beautiful day today!

So far, i don't have any difficulty to find the hand sanitizer in my area..There are still plenty of hand sanitizers around the stores in my area. I had bought some hand sanitizers to stock at home. Thanks for introduce an alternative sanitizer to all of us here..
