What is the average age of Mylotters do you think?

I've always read "my husband this, my wife that, or my daughter, my son..." Sometimes, I just thought I am not wise enough or sophisticated enough to voice my ideas cause all of that I haven't been through.
I was somewhat unhappy about this. Am I a little too young for Mylot?
I'm 22, single and still live with my parents cause I haven't graduated from college and get myself any full-time job.
I don't know if there is a problem cause I have learned that most people here are from total different countries. We probably have different views about everything.
So what is the average age of Mylotters do you think? And how should I make myself IN mylot?
Thanks for help.

I would guess that the average age of mylotters is between 25 and 35. I could be completely wrong, though! I have seen people mention school. I have seen people mention spouses. I have seen mention of boyfriends and girlfriends. I have seen mention of children and grandchildren. So I really think that mylot covers a huge variety of age! One of the things I love about mylot so far is that everyone belongs here!
I definitely dont think you are too young. I am young also. I got married when I was your age! I think everyone has things to offer. Everyone has different backgrounds and different experiences that are valuable. Dont EVER let anyone tell you that you shouldnt be able to contribute to something because of your age. Everyone has something to offer!

I completely agree!
What is 'age' anyway when some are already old even though they are younger than you are and some are still young when they are older than I am - makes no difference at all!

the average of age is 30 I guess. I have numerous of friends and their age varies. I have 18 to 56 to grandpa and grandma. But that's no problem with me, I treat mylot as my second family.

We have a lot of different age groups here in myLot!!! Age doesn't count as experience is the teacher!!! Since you don't have a lot of experience yet, why not learn from us old folk??? Just jump in & give your opinion. You might get blasted for it, but you live & learn!!! At 59 I still learn new things here every day!!! There's a lot of seemingly useless information here too. You'd be surprised at the strange times it comes in handy!!!

Most of us old fogies understand you younger naive kids. Believe it or not, every now & then I learn something from somebody your age!!! Yes, I think you're worrying way too much. However, you admitted you know nothing about having children, so I suggest you not give a Mother or Father advice on child rearing. You still might have the perfect answer as you can understand the child's perspective!!!

I just did a quick calculation of the people whose discussions showed on the first page of New, New User and Today's Top.
There were 26 separate users and the average age was just less than 32. The breakdown into ranges went as follows:
16 - 25: 9
26 - 35: 7
36 - 45: 7
46 - 55: 3
It's a very small sample, I know, (you have sparked my interest and I may take some time to take a larger sample!) but my impression is that most of the members are in the 16 - 35 age range, so you fit in very well, age-wise.
I have found that, on the Internet, age is not nearly as important as 'maturity' and outlook. I have known 16 year olds with whom I (at nearly 70) can enjoy a lively and constructive conversation and I have also known people of maturer years who have a very limited outlook and with whom I cannot 'hit it off'. I don't think that gender matters (at least, not unless one is actually looking for a b/g/f) but my own experience is that, in general, females have a more balanced and lively outlook than males, even when I don't know the gender of the person I'm chatting to.

Hi qiao!
You should be YOU on myLot. That is how you will make friends here, by being yourself.
I have no idea what the average age is but there a heck of a lot of greast people here. I have myLot nieces and nephews and aunts and uncles and it's just one big family.
Don't give out personal info because whatever you write in discussions will be seen all over internet but being yourself is the best thing you can do.
Have fun and happy Lotting!

I am 18 and like you I am still living at home with parents, but I am moving out in a few months. I am still in college and have a part time job.
I have also noticed that people talk about their husbands, wives and children and some even their grandchildren. I would take a guess and think the average age is about 40, because there doesn't seem to be many people under 25 here.

Your not alone friend,I also feel that way.I even feel dull when I cant relate to topics. However,I try my best to catch up and learn new things.:D
Anyways,im much younger,im still a tennager.
So i think most mylotters are in the 3o's.But I also noticed that some are in 50's because some of them talks about their grandchildren. There are also young adults, they share their lovelifes and some stuffs that relates in being single.lol
In conclusion to this:I cant estimate the average age of mylotters here.:D

I think all different age groups are represented here. I for one am in my 60's, so I feel really old lol. They do say though that age doesn't matter. It is mind over matter, and if you don't mind it doesn't matter lol. I just enjoy being here, and it doesn't matter to me how old anyone is in here, as we are all here for the same reason, to make money and make friends. I always keep that in mind when I come in hee, and I just have a good time and just my age go by the wayside lol. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.
