What will be the minimum cost for buying 2 gb ram laptop?

My desktop pc is now totally backdated it has 512Mb DDR1 ram,i cant do all the task,due to low memory and also can't replace.its became old.Thats why thinking to buy a laptop.Which brand will be good.And what will be minimum cost for 2gb laptop?

hii 2gb RAm for lappy will cost around 2.5 to 3k.. as per my knowledge.. its depend upon d slot and manufacturer vendoe;-)

hello sorry... for 2gb lappy.. its better to gor for DELL with superb confi like 2gb ram, 320gb hdd, 15.2" screen.. it may cost u around 38-40k..

HP/Compaq does not give any installation or driver CD. The low end laptops come preinstalled with Vista Home Basic. To have the OS changed would be a lot of hassle. I do not know about your country but over here we can get Acer laptops for MYR1,800 with 2Gb RAM and 160Gb hard disk, or less than USD600. The Acer brand dominates in many parts of the world. There are cheaper alternatives but the question is are they available in your country? An example is MSI with the above specification and a 15 inch screen. all the best in your search, rosdimy

What'z up.. I think you should go for HP. It should cost some $450 - $700 price range. But as for your desktop that you think is backdated! I know of someone that uses a 128mb of RAM desktop system, and believe me, the system is very fast!...
