Nowadays, with the development of technology, we use phone or internet to communicate with our friends or family instead of writing letters. However, I still keep many old letters in my drawer. When I read them, good memories come again. What about you?

I save the best ones. Like you, I like to read them every now and then and always get a smile on my face. I don't keep too many because my tiny office here would be filled with them if I did but some have touched me so deeply that I do keep them in a binder.
I have some old letters that I received before the internet came along, letters from friends that have special meaning to me. They're as good as photographs. We can remember them, but seeing them helps make the memory that much more vivid.

Good way to solve the problems, I got plenty of letters when I was in college, maybe I should learn it from you. I keep all the letters and they take much space. I don't want to loose anyone of them. But now, looks like I should make some choices to give away some of them. It's really hard for me, but I guess I have to do that way. Letters are part of our memory, it's better than mails in my eyes. Have nice day! ^-^

Since moving in with my fiance and moving out of the parents house for the most part I have got rid of alot of stuff including old letters that packed in a drawer. I actually burned them to be exact. In some of them there were alot of private things so I figured no one can read them since I burned them. However I did read them before I did it so I have the memories locked away for safe keeping.

Sometimes we have to do something though we don't want to under certain circumstance. Am I right?

i keep the letters and cards that are sent to me. i try to write real letters and send real cards for special occassions like birthdays, birth of a baby, christmas, etc. i think it says more to the person that you are writing when you take time to actually write a letter.

You are right. A real letter means more to your friend. It is a long time since I received a letter from one of my friends. Receiving a real letter was really a surprise to me.

I have the same feeling as you. I keep most of my old letters in a little box, and I would like to read it so that I can feel time go back to that period and all those old days appeared again. It's so amazing! I look those old letters as my treasure. I will keep it all my life. I am a person who treasures the past. It's hard for me to throw away old things. So, if sb. hurt me, the wound would not be cured in a short period. Just too hard for me to let it go...
