Hi all you fellow mylotters!
I was wondering if we have any countyr music fans here, and if you would be interested in talking about and discussing what your favorite country albums are. I have to say one of my all time favorites is Johnny Cash's Folsom Prisom live record. Though i would just as well put the latest cd of his that was released posthumously up there. What are your thoughts on this? I am happy if you could offer some tips on great country albums

I'm more of an old school Country fan, love Western Swing too but last year I discovered a wonderful artist called Wayne Hancock from Texas. He has quite a few albums but my current favorite is called "Thunderstorms & Neon Signs"
He sounds along the lines of Hank Williams but some songs lean towards a swingy sound, but the guitar sounds lovely, check it out some time, you may even like it

I am a country fan, but as for albums, I just couldn't tell you. I have so many different interests when it comes to Country Music, that really It'd be hard to say what I didn't like. Of course every singer has a sad song or two that I don't like, but that's beside the point. Hmm, Can I say I just like a lot of songs from a lot of artists?

I am a BIG Country Music fan, but I cannot choose just one as my favorite because I love so many. Nope cannot do it, cannot just one...sorry.

My favorite country album is anything by George Strait. I have only been into country music for about 12 years. I don't care for the old stuff that my husband likes - George Jones, and his peers. I love George Strait, Alan Jackson, Kenny Chesney (I live in TN so I have to love him!) - I cannot stand the young ones like T. Swiftless and her peers. A girl in a pair of cowboy boots does not a country singer make!!!
