Currently I go to sleep at 2 AM - 3 AM daily. But it is making serious problem to me as I need to participate in my class in university daily at 8 AM. So, you can guess that my sleeping time is not sufficient for me as I can sleep only 3-4 hours at night daily. I also take a 2 hour sleep after lunch but its not enough for me.
I am trying my best to sleep at 11 PM daily and everyday I made this plan. But I am seriously addicted to internet and basically I use it at night. I can't leave it before 2AM or 3 AM.
I need a urgent solution. I am considering that this addiction and habit both are bad. But I am not succeed to leave it. Can you help me by giving a suggestion?

To tell you honestly, we almost have the same situation. But unlike you that sleeps at around 2-3 in the morning, I sleep a bit early. My normal sleeping time is 10pm. But I wake up so early. Maybe around 3-4 in the morning. And the first thing that I did in the morning is that I surf the net. But I have a good reason for doing this. I can access the net daily because I just borrowed a laptop from my cousin. And I can only use the laptop if they don't use it. They use the laptop almost all day. So the only time for me to work here is while they where asleep. So I have no choice but to wake up early in the morning so that I can post here. Happy mylotting

Do one thing. Sleep before you sit on internet. And then surf for the whole night and at morning go to university. Now a days i am also going to sleep at the morning after azan. And since now i am not having any classes i am sleeping at morning. But when my classes will start i will not sleep at morning time. I will after coming back from university.

Hi bdsurf,I can give you some suggestions.I had the same kind of a habit just like yours and I am trying hard to get rid of it as I am not completely out of it still now.I think for a day at least, you should be awake till around 4 am and then woke up at any cost, the next day within 7 am.Do not sleep for the whole day and that will help you to sleep sooner that day. Thus, you can build a healthy habit.

Be sure you are not eating or drinking any caffiene in the evening. Don't eat late in the evening. Don't take that nap in the day. Allow yourself some time on the internet but go off at a decent hour. Try to go to bed at an hour that will give you the amount of sleep you need. If you can't sleep then get up and do something, preferably not getting online. If all else fails try some warm milk. Good luck!

Hey there,
Maybe you should only limit yourself to the internet in little bits at a time not long periods at a time, and yes get yourself to bed earlier so you dont find it hard the next day for you class, and perhaps organize your day to and night so you get all what you want to do,I can be an internet addict too some times but I can do it in my day so I dont get bored with it.
hope this helps.

You should try to actually put yourself to bed at a reasonable hour, lets say 9-10pm and when you wake up you should have energy. Now you miht have to stay up real late one day so that you body is in need of sleep, so then when it becomes 9pm you goto sleep and dont wake up until 6-7am
