Best SPOT to discuss anything under the Sun inside your home?

Talking and discussing day to day events in our house is being done during dinner. We are all together with my family in our dining table. After dinner the discussion continuous until we will notice its about time to clean the dishes. But sometimes, personal topics are best discussed on our kitchen, for some reasons, we don't know why that spot is our favorite.
When you're at home were do you talk about most of the time?

When at home, most of the time my fiance will talk about something, and it really doesn't matter which room unless his parents are home and awake. Then we usually use our bedroom or the one with the computer in it, then if we need to talk to his mom we will go into the den where she's sitting and relaxing to talk, sometimes in the livingroom if she is reading.
I find that it's much more comfortable to talk when we have thought through everything we need to say to his parents. Mostly we talk out things together so we don't think thoroughly but just express ourselves.
