New social network like orukt ,facebook are coming like websites......

Yes, there indeed has been a flood of community of websites. Its due to the success of websites like facebook and orkut, other businesses find it a good way to attract a lot of traffic onto their website, and hence more income! I still remember a website I used to use long ago which I think started this community concept. It is: batchmates.com For India, I have heard a lot about apnacircle.com , idiva.com etc. But I don't think they will ever be able to pull the crowd off orkut, the most popular community website in India.
