" Please, let me just for 30 min ...plss"...you say this when want to enter to net for a while? Or your wife or husband say..".after one our is my turn..." Do you share a computer with other members of family or you have one just for yourself? If have just one for all family is not a war there? fight, asking, ? you wait until your kid will sleep to can work to computer? Or you just go to a cyber caffe to use a computer?

I have my own laptop and my own internet connection, and I really appreciate that. In the past I had to share the computer and the internet with my family and my boyfriends. When I first started using a computer I was still living at home and my brother and I sometimes borrowed my father's computer. I couldn't use it very often, because my father usually had to use it for work, and when he didn't use it my brother and I used to fight about the computer, because we both wanted to go online Later I moved into an apartment with my ex-boyfriend, I had to share the computer with him and we also disagreed a lot, because we both wanted to use it at the same time. My fiance and I also shared the computer and the internet connection in the beginning, but now we have two laptops and two internet connections.

Thankfully we all have our own computers in my house so I don't have to share. There was a time however, when we hadn't got broadband and I was only paying for so many minutes of free internet time, so we had to share our time between three of us. I had to be very careful because if we went over the time, then I would get a huge bill from the phone company. That's no longer the case and I now have my own pc and unlimited internet access so I don't have to share anything.

It's really hard sharing a computer and we have 2 laptops. My brother, dad and my younger didter and I share it. But we don't actually fight over who must use it because we could still use other gadgets to pass boredom ville. There;s the tv for my sister, my dad works during the day bringing the other compoter. And the other laptop, me and my brother lternate in using it. I'm busy with writing the notes/important feature for the novel i'm writing sometimes or I sleep or watch tv with my sister. That's when he uses the computer. When he's tired of it and he goes to sleep, I use it.

I used to do be in that situation. And we do not even have a time limit. We just wait for the people using it to finish doing what he/she wants. Now all of us have their own computer so this trouble is non-existent. Those days I will go to a cyber cafe if the wait is so long. Now I have my own internet connection so it's more convinient for me... LOL...^^

I connect to internet from my home and I have one desktop and one laptop. I really don't have to fight with others in my house for going online. I am the only person who is confident about the surfing net. My father also know computer but while it comes to surfing the net then he hesitate. So mostly I surf the net. But sometime I sit with my father and try to make hi understand that there is a no grate deal in surfing the internet. I teach him the various buttons of the browser. Then how we can chat using messenger etc. Sometimes he check some official site. Apart from that I am the only person who enjoys the internet.

hahaha i can imagine. :) when my nephews and nieces are all in our house they would be starting to fight over who will have the first turn in using the internet. there's no problem with the computer, we have about 3-6 computers that can be available... unfortunately, only one can be signed in the internet at one time. what happened before was if i leave them to it, one of the kids will cry, and there will be a little shouting and it's going to be the big kids vs the little kids battle of the ages. so i prepare a sheet of paper and wrote down the times that they could use the internet with 30 minute durations. and i ask them to choose, first come first served. the kids will then have to think really hard because they have to balance their time with the biking, cartoon network and disney channel, and eating and sleeping etc. now they don't fight over the internet anymore. even when i'm not around they prepare their own sheet for the schedule of internet use. -lol- anyways, since i pay for the internet connection and i'm using my own laptop, i always get first priority in using the internet. and i don't hear any arguments from the kids because i made the rules and they should abide by them. i can be a little strict at times. -lol- (just 3 rules actually: 1) always smile when using the internet. frowning, fighting or getting mad is not allowed. 2) take turns when using the internet. mealtimes are mealtimes, no internet. 3) auntie myles have the first priority in using the internet at any time that she needs or wants to.)

we're actually planning to buy an internet router or have the whole place in wi-fi but we're still checking on our priority list for our expenditures. coz i'm also thinking of getting an internet service for when i'm travelling so i could have no difficulty in finding myself an internet cafe or wi-fi spot in my travels. but the whole set up of taking turns in the internet is working just fine for now. at least it's teaching the kids some patience and learning to give way to others. :)

I have three computers at home acutally so my sister and i won't fight over it. In the past, we would have one computer and I amazed at how easily my sister and i can just share one computer. But as we grown, we wanted privacy and in some cases we need the computer to do our homework, so then my mom decided that we should get a laptop. My sister also got a free laptop from her school so that counts a total of three computer under one roof. It's really a hassle to share computer these days. I would also ask my sister to share one minute of her time if my other computers are not turn on and we would share.

We own a family computer and during daytime we use computer very seldom. We came from work around 6 pm and that's when our computer go non-stop. During weekends, it is the worst since my sisters and brothers will use the pc on rotation basis. Luckily, I don't have to wait for them since I have my own computer in school and that's where I normally do the task requiring computer.

i am thankful i have my own laptop. although my husband uses this sometimes, it's not really a bother to me, because he only uses it in the evening, while i use it the whole day. my kids or hands off on this computer because i have files here that are very important, and i dont want this catching virus, my kids like to download games, and thankfully they have their own computer too. before when this laptop was still new, my son and daughter would use this, and i would let them, just to try it here. but then their gaming got to become a nuisance, because my right cursor is not working now. so after that they are not allowed anymore to use this. they have their own computers anyway.

I really hate that scripts. I am using a family computer too, since my dad would not allow me to have my own pc then i dont have any choice at all. Glad to say, both of my parents are not fond of using computer. So it would only be me and my sister who would fight to open the computer for our own purposes.

I share a computer with my family but fortunately for, I am home alone for part of the day so I can use it without being disturbed.Someday when my kids get a little older, I plan on possibly getting a laptop for myself. Right now I can enjoy the computer. I got a feeling that it won't be long and I'll only wish that I had the privacy that I do now. I should really cherish the time I have.
