i am very angry to think that my daughter has got in with the wrong crowd. You see my daughter is only 16 and has now got a new group of friends most of which are taking drugs and/or drinking all the time. She has got nasty and going against every thing every one says.I do know the word retaliate very well now,its ateen thing.Im now concerned that she will mess up her exams,i have found beer cans in her room hidden under her bed,and she looks like she has taken drugs when she comes home. She has got nasty towards everyone including her younger brothers.Has any one had a child like mine and if so how did they deal with it?

Oh...seems like your daughter has really messed up a group of bad friends. Something has to be done before it's too late. Have to try to understand with her, perhaps she faced any problem recently or she's been influenced by her friends at school. Try to discuss this with teachers or counselors too. I think this may help at least.

its not a child of mine but its my youngest sister..all of my siblings grew up with me because my parents separated when we were young ones.i became a bread winner and strived hard to send them to school but when she reaches highschool she started to be with the wrong crowd..she started drinking and going home late and sometimes she wont go home till she ended up living in with her boyfriend, its sad but she wont listen and so i let her be since she s fighting me with it...

I'm very sorry that your daughter has taken the wrong turn.
It is very hard for every parents who only wants whats
best for their children. I just don't understand the young
people of today's generation. They know it's bad, but they
do it anyways. Oh Life...
