Too Young For This & Too Old For That

When I was a kid, my great grandmother always tells me that having crushes are for teenagers only. I am too young for that. But when I do not know how to wear some of my clothes, she tells me that I am too old not to know how to wear that. When I became a teenager, great grandma said I am too young to fall in love. Too young to help her in some hard tasks at home and too young to watch some movies that are for adults. But when I do not still know how to cook rice, she said I am too old not to know how to. I am too old not to know how to wash my own clothes. Have you been in a situation like I was when you were young? In what situations and how did you handle those confusions? I guess we really had some points in our life where we experience being in the middle. Not knowing what to do when oldies says we are too young for this and too old for that.
