hi cindy. that's interest ranking. we are ranked in every interest that we have joined in, based on active participation in that particular interest. active participation may include the number of posts you have contributed in that particular interest. as you have been ranked in parenting (5000+ out of 14000) that means out of 14000 or so mylotters in the same interest or topic, you are ranked 5136 based on your active participation there. and since you posted this discussion in under interest "mylot", you are also ranked in the same manner. :) no rankings appear, if you don't include it in your interests. hope this helps. enjoy mylot. :)
