Hey congrats on your about to be mom status. Hey if you have had cleaned the whole house up before you left then why do you need to clean the dishes. It is not fair if someone expects you to clean up so much in this condition or otherwise. You were not wrong. So get any guilt whatsoever out of your mind. And enjoy your life. Be Happy always.

Well, first congratulations on being a soon to be mom. Yes, the role of women is somewhat taken for granted. We are the unpaid maids of the house for a few benefits. We are supposed to do all the housework, and work in offices too. This is the general rule. My husband is quite supportive like that, for he does the occassional cleaning of vessels when our maid is away and I am at work. But changing of bedsheets, dusting, folding clothes and putting into cupboards are all for me only. Unfortunately, my son has also become the same. Clothes lying everywhere, and untidy room. Guess we have to take it in our stride. But you did well to keep the dishes for those who have used them to wash. Its only fair.
