A long trip by bike

Sevral days ago,it was on the 1st of may ,the labor's day,I had a long trip with my wife and a friend of ours. Each of us got a bike ,and we rode bike for a long distance ,it took about 7 hours.We start at about 10 am,and get back at 5 pm,it is a wonderful trip,even we suffered the rain on the way back(we all took umbrella),and we took supper together:barbecue of southern America. Have you ever had a trip by bike? When and with whom ,how about it ?
