decreasing star rating

It makes absolutely no difference whatsoever to me whether it goes up or down. If it goes down solely because someone did not agree with what I stated and they are happy to see it go down, well then I am happy that they achieved their goal If instead of stating their own opinion it makes them happy to bash others then I feel sad for them but that's life. Some have an odd way of getting their kicks I feel and often said that we are all *stars* here on myLot no matter what the colour and just as long as it's fun then that is all that matters!

Yes, I've had this happen to me. People rate my posts, or threads, badly because they don't like me or my opinion. A few months ago, someone started harassing me and started posting stupid and vuglar comments on every thread I posted. When the root of the problem was someone sicked them on after I posted something, politely, in a thread they made that they did not like. I've also reported people for bad behavior, one poster was trying to sell a dog on mylot!, and they've come to my threads and reported them and given my negative reactions. I don't let it get to me, because that's what they want. Also, my star is an 8, like your's, and I feel it's fits me. It's good, but not perfect. I know a good mLoter but not a perfect one. So, I'm happy. Stay positive.

I am not irritated by the raitings. I have bigger and better concerns in my life than to worry about something like that. As long as people are still responding to my discussions, and MyLot is still paying me for my discussions and tasks, I'm very happy. Let the star raitings do what they want.

Yes there are people around here that are busy looking at other's business. They'd rate negative those people whose opinion they don't really like. Well my star rating has been down to 9 from 10 because of that. But I really don't care. What has star rating can do to me? I don't care even if that goes down to the lowest for as long as I can freely give my honest opinion and from that has been getting lots of friends and lots of best responses and I am also earning. So who cares about star rating? That does not hurt me in anyway. It is just star rating and is not getting any benefit from it.

How do you rate a post? I have never seen any key or I have never been asked to rate anybody. I thought it was Mylot admin who was in charge. Certainly for speaking your mind in a proper way it should not be a reason to receive a bad rating.

Hello, spicysweetie21! Well, posting in discussions about politics or religion can make your reputation to decrease because all of us here have different opinions and beliefs. If they are not agree with your opinion, they might rate you negative, which is bad. I don't know why there are some who don't respect the other's opinion, they consider the discussion as a debate.
