can people live happily without cell phone ?

I never feel like keeping cell with you feel comfortable since I have too many friends and every one calls me here and there so I rather prefer not to keep cell phone with me. and I don't keep cell phone since last 2-3 years I give my landling number to others that will make me convinent so that I don't care about other task and without cell I fell free.

Why not?Cell phones are widely used by the common people for just a few years.Before that it remains a sophisticated thing for the riches alone.And we carried on our lives without cell phones.Pagers are the start and cell phones rules us now.It has become a necessary evil to all without which life would be difficult.Yet,we can be happy as before without cell phones,I bet.Cheers!

I think YES! Cell phones are invented just now a days and people used to live without cell phones before and they have a happy life. It is just a need now a days because have been used to it already. It became a necessity and people have been using this for their communication.

i didnt have a cellphone a yr back fr six months it was gud without it fr a person like me who like his space and enjoys the rare lone time he gets i used to love life without a cellphone but evefr since i ve bought one smbdy calls smtime and then u have to go and stuff wen ur not willing to smtimes so it has its pros and cons .....works both ways ......

I agree with you. If people don't use the cell phone ever before, they may can live without cell phone. But by contrast they use it, they know the necessity of the cell phone in our daily life, they'll live unhappily. I also take my cell phone everywhere.It replaces the watch,if I forget to take it,I will feel uncomfortable.

Years ago when cellphones were not yet invented, I believe our parents and grandparents lived pretty well even without it and I think they were content with their lives. But since times changed and everything is now in fast track, cellphone has evolved from luxury to necessity. We can still live ok without cellphones I guess but its a lot more convenient to have one. Its easier to make important call, you don't have to look for a phone booth or for coins to put in the phone. Communication and coordination is a lot more easier.

I cannot be happy without my phone because my life depends so much on it. lol! But there are people who are really not fond of using cellphones and would rather be old fashioned when it comes to technology. Some people would prefer to live a simple life without depending too much on the latest cellphones outthere. I even know some people who are still using an old phone because they don't think they need a newer phone because their old phones are serving them well. Some people are contented with their landline phone and internet.

Hey there!! It is not really that much of a necessity. We live in a fast paced life thats why there is a need for this. But earlier generations survived without a mobile phone. I am not really into texting. I'd rather call up a person if its important so dont count me on that.... LOL

Well Cell Phones are really very important part of our lives these days, we have habit of using it on a regular basis. There might not be even a single day when we are not using our cell phone. But if it is not available to everyone in this word then it is fine because we can live as we were living in the past and if it is only me then I think it will tough call because I have land line phone and internet at my home. But I will never get flexibility that I used to get using my cell phone. But yes after few days I can manage it and stay happily without it.

Yeah.We previously have no cell phone.the advantage is you can carry it anywhere you are.

As for me ,if I forget to take the cellphone with me ,I can't keep my mind on work.I always worry about missing any message.Mybe cellphone is too important to us.The world is full of informations that we need them .Cellphone can help me.

Sometimes I like the break from my cell phone, just like I used to enjoy the reprieve from the house phone years ago! It really has become a necessity it seems. There was a day I travelled everywhere and never considered that I did not have a phone with me, whereas today I wouldn't think of leaving home on a journey without one! I wonder how we made it years ago without a phone in our pocket!! Can we "live happily" without one.. sure.. we did.. and we could again if we had to!

Hi rocketsky,were not human being living happily before cell phones came into market and was available for all the people?I know it is important today so that you can contact with others easily and your family members or anyone else can catch anytime they want.So,without it,problems are bound to come but I think we can adjust as well.

There's a time that I'm happy without it, no calls, no texts, no one will bother you, hehehe but It's needed though. I can't be totally happy without it ^_^

I think nobody or maybe 1% of the population thinks that cellphones are not important.Like what you said,its like a necessity in you.And I totally agree with the idea.Having a cellphone is very important,every minute we need it.It is very useful in our lives today,especially that technology right now is very needed.

In my case, the cellphone is a necessity. as I don't have a landline. I just got tired of all the telemarkettes, calling at all hours of the day. I don't have that on my cellphone. Sure, I do get wrong numbers, but not any solication calls. So, I need my cellphone, and I do take it with me even when I walk my dogs, as I neer know if a family member needs me for anything. I think cellphones, for most people are a way of life, and to be without them, would be very difficult. Happy mylotting.

Nowadays I think cell phone is a necessity for us. Without cellphone, we can't communicate with people and everything will be difficult. Some people even use cellphone to go online and surf the internet.

Yes and No answer. I can live happily without cellphone if I plan to travel alone... or chill out alone and no one should bugs me.hehe... but it comes a necessity if you need an emergency calls... the only hassle for a cellphone is if you don't have a load...or money to buy a load for that... Don't you think it will add to your expenses when you have cellphones? like charging, load, etc.
