I want to go to the USA.........
Hello there, What is your college major in? I might be able to give you some helpful information. What City or town in the USA do you want to live in? Also have you thought about why you want to move to the USA? If you are a hard worker, you can make a very good life for yourself here in the USA but you will probably miss your family. Are you planning to move your family here with you when you come? What kind of job would you be looking for? Hope to hear from you soon. Happy Mylot.

A visitor's visa (the one you get if you are spending a vacation in the US) lasts for 90 days. The only usual ways of staying longer involve being able to prove that you either have legitimate business in the US (as a student or a worker/business owner) or that you can support yourself or can be supported adequately.
Marrying an American is, perhaps, the most logical (if one is free to do so) but if there is ANY suggestion that the marriage is one of convenience, either before the marriage or after, you will lose your visa!
The process is quite long-winded (though I am sure that short cuts can be found) and usually involves giving evidence that you have met the person you want to marry, applying for a Fiance visa in your own country and travelling on that visa to marry the US resident with documentary evidence that the wedding has been arranged within the visa period. The two intending to marry will also have to undergo quite a comprehensive interview process to establish that their reason for marrying is not to bring an alien into the country.
If one marries a US resident outside the US, the process of bringing the spouse into the country involves the same kind of detailed checks and may mean that the couple are apart for several months while the visa is processed in the other country.

Marrying a legal American citizen does not make it easy either. I am American - my husband is British and we are ateempting to get him a residents visa so that we can be at my home in the USA and near my family. He has his own income which he will still get in America - there is a lot of paperwork and you have to send proof of everything. It also costs in the region of $400 to file then the expense of going back and forth to the US Emabassy numerous times for physicals, interviews etc.It takes approximately 6 months. I think your best bet would be to find a decent job and then apply for a Green Card which I believe are issued in a lottery type way, but even that is not a certainty that you can stay permanently. You did not say which country you are from.

I know that the fastest way to go to the US is to got married with American citizen. If you have a relatives in the US you can petition you to migrate in the US but it is a long process. If you want to work as contract worker there you need to apply first in the Agency in your country who offering jobs in the US. Ensure the legality of the agency so you would not be a victim.
