How do you control your anger?

I get angry very early.I am ill tempered.I have decided not get angry very soon and very often.I am finding it difficult to control my anger.Now I have started praying in the morning to control my anger.Are you ill tempered too.How do you control your anger? If you know how to get rid extra anger please share .

hi
the best way to refrain from getting quick tempered is to practice meditation. Meditate on some thing that freshens your mind take for example meditate on flowers, waterfall, light, your favorite god anything..listen to meditation music, do things you like when you are angry. If someone is irritating you or scolding you you just keep quiet and move off from the place and try bringing your anger down.Immediately make a phone call to your friends who really care and pour down your emotions that's all 80% anger will fly off. see its only you who is going to get affected so take care of your health. let others speak whatever they feel like you should show them that you are not the same barking dog as they are. If you stay cool that really encourages others to follow your way!! Believe me it worked out for me. just avoid out bursting within few minutes your anger will be gone. postpone your anger don't hurt others. If someone hurts you don't mind they are the fools at the last. Take things coolly and get going with life. Set an example for others.

i try to be alone at such times, as anyone that will come across at such time will have a WAR with me......so i go alone and listen to music, and try to forget the matter that made me angry.....if the one who made me angry says 'sorry' it take stwo minutes to go, but if i am wrong then its difficult to digest....

yes im ill and short tempered too,well im short tempered even today but when i get angry i behave in a normal way and don't show my anger.well for this i start breathing deeply and i remember the person who always tried to keep me happy.if u believe in god then it is even better , remember him ,this will surely help you.
