Procrastination

You all know the value of time. Yet we keep on postponing the things we want to do. may be we are lazy , may be we are too busy , may be we tend to think it to be unimportant to do something which has relevance may be some long time later. But a stitch in time saves nine. We are better off if we start early. Yet we keep on avoiding to do things. And we are too lazy or the start of an activity requires some real making up of my mind.
e.g a student has preparation leave and wants to study . but he gets in a comfort zone thinking he has too much time on his hands and postpones the beginning of study. and then he burns midnight oil and mugs it all up.
what such things have happened with you? or are you like good old diplomatic Englishmen of yesteryears who used to do everything perfectly?

The thing about reading , at least in my case is , that I never tend to postpone or avoid reading something which interests me but it would take a mountain moving effort to make me read something which does not interest me. I am more procrastinator for the case of say submitting a form , or paying bills. I think many people postpone payment of bills.
