queue for free gift or cheap sales

When ever there's a free gift or cheap sales, the queue was alway very long.Last weekend, i went mcdonald with my family at the shopping mall, one of the electrical shop opening hours at 11,there was a long queue at 9, later then i found out that the tv plasma is on sales, only 10 sets.

I have never done that before. But I have heard something like this before. There are certain cases in which people are willing to queue overnight waiting for the shop to open in order to grab some free or good stuffs.
Again, this will depend on each and every individual. Some may feel that the time spent waiting is worth what they are going to get, then they would not mind queuing. Some may find that their time is more precious than what is being offered, then they will not waste their time in the queue.
