I recently use yahoomail but I am now very annoyed with all the spams that I receive. Plus, the username I'm using just doesn't fit me anymore. After a few struggles, I finally realize that I should make a new email account. But I want it to be perfect. So now I wonder which free email provider I should use. Basically, the three best out there are gmail, hotmail and yahoomail. So which of the three do you think is the best? Or if you have another email provider in mind that is way better than the three, please don't hesitate to tell me about it.. :)

I am from china.I think the best free email provider is 163 email box. I used this email provider 7 years ago. It is easy to operate the steps. I can manage my emails according to my own styles. I recommend other people to try to use this free email provider.

ya, same here gmail is good for spam and its going better when compare to other email accounts. Yahoo has a name and some people are really happy with that because of the personals.

try mail.com. i've been doing that one same email address for 12yrs. you can even pick your own ending, like either @ mail.com, or @orbit.com, or like mine, @paris.com. etc. the only thing you need to remember is it will not empty your trash automatically etc. you have to do all maitenance like that. but its never been a problem for me. i've enjoyed it always. never have another one for my forever main mail.

I had a mail.com account before. But it seems that when I tried creating a new account, you already need to pay for it.

i dont know why. unless its a different place you went to. i've had mail.com free mail for 12 yrs and never had to pay. you can pay for special amounts of room etc. but i've never went over my alotted amount, even when i've had 4 or 500 emails to catch up with during a move, etc.

YahooMail is my old email service but i got fed up with the annoying spam emails i receive everyday.. my hubby who has been a gmail user for years encouraged me to make a new email account under gmail so i did.. my decision of creating a new account was worth it.. i love gmail, i really do! it filters spam emails, it has big space, cool applications such as chat feature and email layout(theme)..=)

your response, by far, is the most straight to the point and has the tone that could actually convince me to make a gmail email account. but how cool is the chat feature? i mean, yahoomail has one too, not that i use it often.. :)

The best free email provider for me is gmail. They provide 7 giga bytes space to save all your inbox email. It is very nice appereance and one thing that make me like gmail, it do not need scan my file attachment. But for mobile email i suggest hotmail. It is very awesome

Oh yes. Gmail has added this new feature wherein you can choose a neat layout right? I've always thought that's way cooler than just to modify the color of my email's interface. How huge does yahoomail give for the inbox anyway? Unfortunately though, here in our country, if we don't have load to spend for using the internet in our mobile phone, the only available site is yahoo (along with yahoomail). It's unfortunate that I can't access hotmail when most of the time, my mobile phone has no load at all. :D

Wow I'd appreciate the file attachment part. It kind of takes time when I do that on YahooMail.. And I don't like it at all..

I currently use Yahoo! mail as well, but from what I've heard, GMail is great. Everyone I know who uses it raves about it. I recommend you try that one out, seeing as I've used Hotmail and if you think you get a lot of spam with Yahoo, stay far away from Hotmail.

I actually use all but each and every one of them have it's purpose. For my Yahoo! I use it for personal use and for YM ppurposes since YM is still the widely used intstant messenger. As for my Hotmail, I rarely use it but that's what I use for instant messenging when I'm at work. And then for Gmail, I use it for my personal business communications. to choose from the three, I still go for Gmail because of it's connection with photos, calendars, documents, etc. Yhoo has all the spam in the world already.

Right now gmail is the best free email provider. It has very strong protection from scam.It also doesn't get viruses to the computer. It also has a chat feature to chat online with friends. It is also integrated with picasa to view photos.I use yahoomail most of the time.Because i give my yahoo mail id to the money making sites.Hotmail is also good because of its looks.

i cant say if one is any better than another. But i believe that no matter which one you choose sooner or later the spammers and scammers will get to you. I believe they buy the email addresses from somewhere. Cant say for sure.

yahoos teh best then gmail then hotmail in my opinion. I have heard bad things about gmail but I like it it's never caused me any problems. I have had some bad experiences with hotmail. Sometimes I can't log in, sometimes it gets my emails way too slow, and sometimes not at all.

Befor to use Yahoo, i used Hotmail, but i like more Yahoo, even i receive a lot of spasm. I don t know if i will change my e mail, but for moment in my opinion the best is Yahoo, I don t try G Mail, i have one for my family, one for bussines and one for friends. So, i ll vote for Yahoo, for me work very good, but i change my password all the time, this make me feel in safe.

So why did you transfer from hotmail to yahoomail in the first place? Thanks for reminding me about changing my password. I think I should do that right now, not that I think some people actually know my password. My password is very long and I type very fast so people won't actually understand what I am typing. Hahaha. Another reason why I want to have another email account is that I need something that I can proudly place on my resumes someday. Hopefully, I'll be able to send my resume to companies next year, after I graduate.. :)

If you are looking for less spam, then Gmail is the best option for you. Gmail has an awesome protection for against spammer. You can do the same thing with Yahoo mail but it won't as effective as if you use Gmail. I also think Gmail is good for mobile user. It has a friendly interface and performance for mobile user. Have a nice day and happy mylotting.

For me, the best email provider is gmail. i have used yahoo before and it was working fine for me. the downside is, yahoo sometimes doesnt receive confirmation emails when you join a website.

I've never experienced not receiving confirmation emails. Maybe the ones you were supposed to receive went straight to your Spam Folder? Anyway, thanks for the response! I really appreciate it. More power to Gmail! :D

I personally like Hotmail myself I use that for all of my personal e-mails where as I use the e-mail address that I made through my cable company for you know paid e-mails and paid surveys and also to talk to my attorney. So I guess you can say that my roadrunner e-mail address is for business and hotmail for personal.

I have a yahoo and a hotmail account. I used to have a freeserve one but I ended up getting 5 or 6 hundred spams a day. I don't get very many on yahoo only about seven a day and about ten on the hotmail one. I don't think it is the yahoo account that is generating spams I think it is the web sites you go on.

Hi blanne, I prefer useing hotmail. It was my frist e-mail address and my praimary one. I do have a yahoo accont alos and I am using it now for mylot. I do like hotmail for its grafics and there is a now a very large storage size aviable now. also thouh yahoo is now limitless the space i am using on hotmail is more than enough. I do get a lot of junk mail or spam but most of it goes to the junk mail filter, what junk mail I get simlyes gets deleted. but the same goes for yahoo too, I do not recived too much spam there either. I would sugguest hotmail as an allturitive for you. I am not famular with gmail so I can't say anything about it.

I have a yahoo account and also a gmail account. I like them both so either one would be what I would go with. I have had yahoo account for years. It was my first email account I ever had. I got gmail a couple of years ago when someone mentioned that one to me when I was getting alot of emails.

i've been using yahoomail for years, but just last month i switch to gmail because most of the sites i joined want a gmail account, then i found out after that, that gmail is way better than yahoo... im not saying goodbye to yahoomail yet as most of my contacts knows that it is my email, but i love gmail more than i love yahoomail now. i like the way how i delete mails at gmail when i read a mail and delete it i'll be taken back to the inbox, while at yahoo when i read mail and delete it, the next mail will be open right away, which i find quite annoying. the way contacts are handled at gmail is better too than that of yahoomail. gmail is simpler and easier, while yahoomail for me has a lot of blah blah...
