My grass is out of control.

Our grass is getting so high right now but because of all the rain that we have been getting we can't get out their and cut it, and they are calling for rain until Sunday. My husband is the one that cuts the grass and does the weed eating. and i am the one that takes care of the garden. I enjoy being out side in the fresh air and sun working in the garden, and in the flower beds...

I love mowing the lawns, but then I have a riding lawn mower so I can do it quick. It takes me about 3 hours to get all the lawns mowed. Spring is the hardest time of the year because you get it done and it almost needs it again in a day or two lol. I love doing anything outside, from the lawns to the gardens. I've done most of my own landscaping myself over the years. I've made trellis's for my clematis, and every year I make new starts from my rose bushes and bushes (like forsythia's etc.) I find a lot of pleasure in doing my own thing with the yard :-)

i am so not a gardening person. we are fortunate that we live in a condo unit where they cut our grass for us. i just dont like getting my hands dirty i guess, plus, i cannot kneel to work in the garden due to the fact that my knees have no cartlidge in them.

We feel that way about it when it's the end of summer and it's sweltering the grass grows a lil slower and we mow it less often and let it go dorment instead of watering it during dry periods. I don't mind mowing the back yeard as it's flat but I'm always distracted by the kids with everything I try to do so it's easy for me to not finish or get discouraged.
