I know it's my mother's day as well as my mother's but I end up doing most of the work. The kids argue that they have to help and my husband just proceeds to relax!

:) A mothers work is never done. My day is pretty much like any other...I get flowers, cards and usually the kids will try to make me a desert treat but they are seven and nine so it usually toast with a candle shoved into the center of it. I know it is not much but I still love it because they try so hard. I get the day off from cleaning usually but it doesn't matter because I just have to do it the next day so I will usually just do it that day and then my husband will usually cook dinner for that day but it is normally the same thing every year because he is good at making it LOL! The day always seems to go so fast too...
It does seem however that fathers day even though it may not be as celebrated they always get a little more relaxation LOL....
