Any recomended places to Visit in England?

I live in West Midlands and have constunt urges to visit new places, Just get so bored of visiting the same places seeing same faces etc.. I like to go to pubs, anything music related (preferably rock music) and just having a laugh while meeting new people. So places that land in those interests are what I am looking for. Although I don't actually drive my friend does and he likes the adventures just as much as me, as long as I pay half the petrol money lol I really want to go places that people generally go to have a good time without it costing a hole in your pocket.
