With the way the economy has effected our area of the country, moving seems to be the best option for my family. I am leaning towards Northern Texas, or Southern Oklahoma. I have researched the available employment opportunities through the states websites and have noticed an extremely large number of available openings. I have relatives in that area, and they all have informed me that the weak economy has not slowed growth in those area much at all.
I have lived in those areas previously, and find them to be pleasant and inviting. It appears that the pay is better and the cost of living (rent, etc) is lower. I was wondering if there are any mylotters that are from that general area that can provide feed back as to how things are moving forward in your area and also, what is your personal opinion of the available job opportunities in your area. Thank you so much.

If you are going to move to TX I suggest you do it quick. While it has taken longer to hit here,it has begun and those jobs will dry up soon. I wish you luck in your choice and speed also because where I am in TX the jobs are going quick and Dallas is not to far away to work there during the week.
