We all go through tough times, and we get some good advice from friends, loved once and even those who we don't want to get advice from, but anyways, what are those that really stuck with you and get you though the day?

Some of the best advice I ever got was actually from a book! It is something that can be applied to everyday and something to remember to catch yourself.
From Terry Goodkind's "The Wizard's First Rule" (part of the Sword of Truth Series) comes this (the wizard's first rule): People will believe something to be true because they want it to be or they fear that it is.
It is really helpful when trying to get to the bottom of a situation. It is also really helpful to remember that when you hear anything. For example, the swine flu pandomonium is a bit crazy. If people got their facts straight, they would realize this is nothing to worry about beyond any other type of flu. But they fear that the swine flu is terrible and they fear they will die from it. So they believe all of the terrible stories they hear!
The other wizard's rules throughout the books are great as well. But that one is probably my favorite and one that everyone can use.
