How do you convince others to join MyLot??

I have had the same problem myself. Peopld just don't want to get paid a small amount, so they just won't bother. I have tried to convince my caugher to join, but she told me no. She thinks I am nuts for being here, since I won't make a lot. I told her that it is better than nothing, that is for sure. I am basically doing this without referrals whatsoever. I know it will take longer, but I am certainly not going to force anyone to do what they don't want to do. I will just keep posting and I will get there eventually. I add the link to my blog and give a good explanation of the pros of using my lot. I do this for many sites I use. I like to post the payment proofs from my sites also. People seem to have more interest when they see a site that actually pays.

i just tell people what a great site it is, and if I have already refered people that they know, I just let them know that we have mutual friends here on Mylot. That usually gets them here even faster.

So far I've gotten two people to join MyLot. But only one of them are active. The other was active for the first week he was a member but he stopped logging in. The other posts every so often since joining a week or so ago. So far she's earned me five cents. What I do is that I have my referral link with a brief description of MyLot as the signature for when I post on the message boards on the website IMDb (Internet Movie Database). So whenever someone sees my posts, they'll see my referral link. That's where my first referral came from.
