Mostly babies of around 6 months sleep 2 times 2 hours a day + the whole night.
Don't worry if babies need sleep they will sleep. By the way, I have a tip for you, give information about why you'd like to know this, in this way we can provide you more detailed information. :D

M y daughter used to want feeding every two hours when new born, then when she got to six months old she was waking up every three to four hours even when i gave her a big spoon feed before bed i tried every thing as everyone elses baby was sleeping through the night. At one stage i used to think was it worth trying to go to sleep as no sooner had i gone to sleep it was time to get up again to her.I tried giving her a dummy as in the end i thought it was a comfort thing why she was waking up.At nine months she started to sleep for six hours she is now sixteen and she still only needs a small amount of sleep unlike me.

Some babies will be sleeping all night at 6 months others possibly not waking in the night for milk up to a year old is quite normal.
As for day time sleeps depends on the child my eldest would be having id say 2 hours max during the day at this age, my youngest would sleep up to four hours during the day and then sleep all night so it really varies, as long as your baby is happy and contented then its probably getting enough sleep
