There are a ton of different options. Always make sure you are doing something that your mother would like. Each person is different, so what might be good for one mom may not be good for another!
A few things that I have done that my Mom enjoyed:
* Cook her dinner. Anyone can go out and buy dinner at a restaurant. She can do that without you! My mom lives by herself, so if she wants a home cooked meal, she has to make it for herself. She loved being able to eat a good meal at home without have to cook or clean up!
* Yard work. This is one of those things that could be deemed 'boring'. My mom has a pretty big yard and there is always something that needs done! I spent an entire day helping her pull weeds from the flower beds, pick up sticks so that we could mow, thinning out bulbs that have reproduced, and trimming back branches. With several of us working, we got a lot done. That meant that mom didnt have to work so hard and could enjoy it!
* A new picture of you (and any siblings). My sisters and I are grown. We dont often get together for pictures anymore. A few years ago, we had some professional pictures done of all 3 of us together. We gave them to my mom as her Mother's day gift. This way she had a current picture of all of us.
* Flowers from your garden. I dont know of anyone who doesnt appreciate flowers! What could be better than flowers that you took the time to grow and care for? Share the enjoyment of their beauty with your mom.
Remember, Mother's Day is a chance to honor your mom. Make sure you keep her in mind when you pick out a gift. A gift can be something material or your time! Dont limit yourself to how much money you have. Use your imagination and you can create a mother's day she will never forget!

Oh wow! The idea of a recent photo of you and your sibling is a great idea! I hope that when my baby comes this October that my daughter and the baby do that for me every Mother's Day! That would be so nice :) OR I hope they make me something! I would love a gift that one of my kids has made for me coming straight from the heart!

This is a VERY hard question because it all depends what kind of things your mother likes. Usually safe ideas could be flowers, going out for supper, a gift certificate to her favorite store, etc.
