How do you generate traffic? visitors! , leads and sales

I was wondering what you do to get visitors on your pages! I am testing out some cool promotion tools too! At the moment I am trying to build an online content network. it's purpose is to get highly ranked tagged articles online which I can later use to promote new sites! I use youtube to promote too! it's awesome. you do not necisarily need a video that actively promotes a site or service. if you could do a cool computer trick or know something cool, record it and make a tutorial! I got a video with 11500 views this way :P monthly 100 people click a link in my description for the video! I write articles on publisher sites like ezinearticles,squidoo,hubpages. but I also blog! I am building a blog network too. I post on forums, some of my visitors come from here, or other cool forums :) I'm also testing twitter, its ok for the moment nothing great though! just need some followers :) Uhm I am also testing out DIGG when my new site is ready. it seems like a very cool community, digg is a well organized site and has a lot of potential. I just hope I find out some secrets ;)
