I found out the gender of all 3 of my children before they were born. I have 2 girls and another on the way. I think it makes it much easier to plan things ahead of time. I do think its pretty cool to wait and have it be a suprise but I find it easier to know ahead of time. what about you, did you find out or did you wait?

yes i did find out the gender of my baby at 5 months on my pregnancy. i didnt have a choice coz the sonologist mentioned it while discussing the movement on the ultrasound monitor. plus the fact that when the baby was turning, i didnt see any 'thingie' popping out in between the legs. haha. it was a great experience. although i wanted to keep the gender a surprise for my husband so i didnt tell him right away. i waited until i was due. funny thing was that we were at the mall buying some baby stuff, i agreed to buying blue things for the baby. i just said 'yeah thats a great choice something sporty' but deep inside i was giggling coz i already know. then my cousin gave me some hand-me-downs all in pink! my husband was not sure how to react but we were very thankful coz it saved us a lot of money.

I always wanted to know the before giving birth, I think that I be so exited that is why I always wanted to find out in advance, and I also agree with knowing before hand it helps you plan better.

No, I did not want to know. I wanted it to be a surprise. For me, it wouldn't have made it any easier to know. We just bought unisex baby items. Unfortunately, my fiance was dying to know. I went into labor early and when they did the ultrasound, he asked to find out. I let the doctor tell us, so we found out we were having a boy a week before the delivery. I just knew I was carrying a boy, although everyone told us I was carrying a girl.
