about pregnancy {labor}

Hi I would like to let you know i had a friend that had one and she said it didn't hurt but it slowed down the contractions and it didn't dull the pain and still today she has pain in her back where they put it. I just thought i would let u know that. I have a 3 year old and a 2 month old and i thought i would never get through labor without one and i did with both. So Good Luck Corinne

I had my daughter 3 years ago on June 6th, and I honestly don't remember much about the labor. I know I had an epidural, and I know that they stick the needle in during a contraction, but I don't remember how bad or if it really hurt. The only thing about them is that if they aren't injected in the exact spot then it might not work! I don't remember my contractions getting any easier after so I doubt it went into the right spot. You might not think that you want one if your scared of needles, but once your water breaks and your going through HARD labor you will go through just about anything to make contractions stop!
