facebook...a lot of people use it...why?

I am a member of Facebook but I am not so interested in using it. Since the speed is not very fast in my side. I feel bored to wait if I want to just upload my photos. And this is why I lost my interest to this website. I know it's a popular social website, but I don't have many friends who use it. I love China

i hav ejust recently deleted my facebook profile. I think it is very fake and creates aggrevting situations. like you get requested by some people and you accept them ut of politeness and nosyness but really you think 'i never iked you in school and you didnt like me so why be fake?' also if someboy sends you a message you feel obligated to reply and the when you dont they think you are being rude. it is a great tool for keeping in touch with people far away but you houldnt let it replace normal human contact!

I don't use it, but my two kids do...and it's a good way to keep connected to a lot of friends. My daughter even allows me to read through her facebook, and I find lots of interesting people and some juicy bits of information. It's leisure and communication rolled into one. It's a tough competitor to friendster, and is even much better. If you're up to it, you better join 'em. I know it's fun 'coz my kids really enjoy connecting with friends through the facebook.

I think Facebook is awesome because it allows you to keep in touch with people you may not otherwise keep in touch with. It also allows you to keep in touch with family members easier. I talk to many people more because of facebook. We're always sending each other quick messages and comments, etc. If you're looking for an old friend, someone from high school or college, etc. Facebook is a great place to look. It's a free search and almost everyone is on facebook! I use Facebook. It's one of my favorite sites to visit everyday. Facebook and Mylot are on the top of my list!

ask someone who's a facebook addict - like me. why i use facebook? because i can find my old friends there, i dont use it to make new friends cuz i dont like adding strangers. is facebook making a success - obviously. ask any person around you, almost everyone has facebook, from my mom, to my best friends lttle sister. whats so special about it? well it has a chat feature, it has all the games in the world u can play, theres a market place for buying and selling stuff, theres a calender for ur friends birthdays, theres an email feature where u can message ur friends privately or write on theyre walls on their profiles, theres a photo feature where u can upload all your pictures and tag your friends in them and comment on them, same for videos. there are special groups where there are discussions, etc similar to mylot. there are various applications and quizzes people like to add for fun, for their hobbies, for conveneince, etc. basically, facebook has it all, its beautiful, just try not getting into trouble, or getting too addicted that it affects your social life
