SCAM or Legit sites - how do you know?

I have heard many people talking about a site is scam or they have got cheated by some sites. Is there any means that you can identify whether the site is SCAM or not. Somewhere i have read all bux sites which are having the same TOS could be SCAM because the admin of the site is not even ready to put an effort to define his own TOS. Not sure!

visit my blog in my profile for sites that have paid me before already. payment proof is in my blog. also my blog have a list of proven scam lists
